I’ve been having a rough time lately - and it always seems silly because it was just me being a week without my anxiety meds. But it’s been so bizarre to be reminded of how I felt for so many years. How afraid I always was and how constantly I would even sweat due to anxiety or worry. I have gotten my medicine and just started taking it again, but songs like this - heck, deep diving back into digimon has really been helpful for me. So thanks. The lyrics are also spot-on and BRILLIANT, on a lighter note! 😅 wonderful song!

Oh yeah! This intro, good memories! Good stuff! It fits, and the lyrics somehow take me back there… was this one ever in English? Or was this one of the many One Piece intros that never got a full English dub?

Nice! That works well. I always questioned the choice of opening here, it seemed like it wasn’t very “one piece” it felt like it was meant for a more “modern” style anime, like MHA. Idk not Pirates and flintlock pistols. Technologically advanced designs. This *could* probably match themes with the Egghead arc, or like Punk Hazard. But wasn’t this during Whole Cake? Felt like it took a different tone to the rest of the show. The performance of the cover matches the energy of the original perfectly. No complaints about your execution… seems flawless. I wonder why they picked that for Whole Cake? Just cos Sanji’s siblings are superpowered super soldiers? Like, idk they’re not exactly the focus of the arc.

Fresh flavor, I like it. Definitely makes me want to rewatch that arc again now with new appreciation of this characterization of the opening lyrics.

WOO! Now that’s the energy it needed! The original had GEARS of energy… like, you could FEEL it. It takes a special kinda singer to bring that same energy and then some, I think that nail has been whacked right on the head! Great work. This is one of my top 3 openings, and you didn’t disappoint me. Might even be top 2. Somehow, gone up in the world.

This is probably my favorite One Piece opening… and you didn’t disappoint. Everything hit just right. Perfection! A chefs kiss!
